Events We Can Host

Events that can be hosted at Nelson City include weddings and receptions, corporate meetings and parties, fund-raisers, and birthdays, anniversaries, and other private parties. Weddings and Receptions Nelson City Dance Hall and Party Ranch is perfect for a wedding and/or the reception that follows. With its Western theme, Nelson City will add the right Hill Country flare to your wedding. The wedding can be outdoor or indoor. The outdoor lower courtyard offers a stage area for the ceremony and seating for approximately 150 people. The upper courtyard above can be a staging area for attendants and arriving guests. The wedding can also take place indoors as the dance hall has plenty of seating. The hall also offers areas for the bride and attendants to change clothes. There is indoor and outdoor facilities for cooking/catering for the reception and two bar areas. Nelson City can provide the food and drink as well as outside caterers. And of course, there's the bandstand and dance floor for the dance after the reception. Corporate Meetings and Parties Nelson City Dance Hall can be set up as any conference facility and will add a Hill Country flavor to your meeting. The dance hall will compliment any corporate party while offering all the usual facilities. The dance hall can be filled with tables and/or chairs with the speaker using the bandstand as his/her speaking stage. The bandstand has an alcove off to the side for the speaker(s) to use as a staging area. There are separate areas in the dance hall where breakout sessions can be held. For the corporate party, there is both indoor and outdoor areas: the lower and upper courtyard outdoors and the dance hall, game room, and second story area indoors.
