Future of Nelson City

A new party room, café, retail outlet and craft booths are among the plans for new facilities that will be added to the Nelson City Dance Hall and Party Ranch. New Party Room A separate party room across the from dance hall is currently under construction behind the Western town façade. The party facility will include an enclosed room, an open-air covered pavilion and its own set of restrooms. This facility will be smaller than the dance hall, but still roomy enough to accommodate a nice-sized group. Café One of original buildings across from the dance hall used to house a restaurant and that building will soon undergo remodeling to create a café for the area. This café will cater to the local traffic of residents, workers and visitors who want a bite to eat between work and travel. Under the current plans, the café will offer dining in separate rooms within the café. Retail Shop and Craft Booths Another one of the original buildings will be remodeled into a retail store. This store could become an antique store, general store, or other type of outlet. The store will also contain enclosed 10x10 booths that can be used for craft and other vendors. |
